Introducing Kenosha Chiropractor, Susan L. Fleuchaus, DC, CCSP, DACCP

The Preferred Kenosha Chiropractor

At a young age, I knew I wanted to help people who were sick or in pain. I began my career as a nurse and witnessed impressive recoveries by people who were very ill. Over time, I wondered how many of these problems could be avoided. I knew the body had an incredible ability to heal itself and I wanted to provide a path to good health, before resulting to drugs or surgery if at all possible. That is when I discovered Chiropractic! The premise of chiropractic is based on opening nerve connections to allow better communication between the brain and the body. The result is helping your body fully utilize its own healing powers to relieve pain, decrease muscle spasm, increase joint movement, and improve overall body function.

I have a nursing degree from Marquette University and received my Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. I have additional education and certifications in nutrition, sport injuries and rehabilitation. I have a specialty in pregnancy and pediatrics as it relates to chiropractic and certified in the Webster Technique, which helps transverse or breech babies assume a normal head down position prior to birth. I love to learn new things and consider myself a lifelong student, always looking for better ways to help my patients.

My professional mission is to help families reach their fullest health potential. Health starts with getting back to the basics. This includes good nutrition, physical exercise, plenty of water, healthy thoughts, loving personal relationships, and a clear nervous system. Chiropractic opens the nervous system allowing your body to adapt to your changing environment and everyday stresses you encounter. Your health affects everything you do and everyone you know. In order to be your best, you must feel your best.

The Doctor Asks some important questions of interest to Kenosha residents - Chiropractor Kenosha The Doctor Asks...

What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
